[ The post begins with the sound of Lelouch's harsh breathing.

He speaks, after a second of this, and his voice is Zero, is pure, distilled anger ground like glass into something clear and sharp: ]

So, these gods have shown their power, then.

They've thought to make a mockery of our free will. To rattle the chains we could not see or feel until now.

This, then, is even more urgent proof. We have little time. The longer we are here, the longer we are exposed to their corrupting influence. The longer we soften, like clay. Until we are stripped down to something that is no longer ourselves.

I cannot allow this to happen.

I will not allow this to happen.

[ A lengthy pause here, and then he speaks with a bit less heat. ]

Akira, allow me to apologize to you. What I did and said, I did not intend.

[ Another pause, and it is clear he is addressing everyone again. ]

Those who would not stand for this, contact me. We will find a way to show these gods exactly how little we think of their plans.

[ Lelouch smiles. Now here is someone who sounds determined. ]

That's a good attitude.

I don't believe we've directly spoken over Hitomi yet. Asano...Rin, yes? [ He pronounces her name carefully, but precisely. ]

If I can obtain any further information, I will definitely relay it to you.

How do I -- I'm sorry, I should probably introduce myself on a personal level. My name is Lelouch Lamperouge. I have seen - or heard - you introduce yourself to a few people around the network, so I simply retained the information. I really should have introduced myself before this, but there's no helping that now.

[ He's going to have to be more careful about that. If everyone less familiar with this kind of technology realized that public posts are just that - public - his most reliable information channels would be compromised in a heartbeat. ]

[ Lelouch smiles, momentarily - her reaction brought back memories.

(( "Lelouch." He crossed his arms, caught between a ten-year-old's haughty scowl and the urge to giggle.

The other boy, his brown hair in a sweaty tangle about his head, scrunched up his face as if that would loosen his tongue more effectively. "R-rllluu-shi." It was a heroic effort.

They looked at each other, and burst out laughing. ))

It was easy to get too used to the Hitomi's automatic translation, as well as the strange property of this world that translated spoken language. Lelouch had mostly been pronouncing his name the Britannian way. ]

"Ruruushu." It's alright, it's a bit hard in Japanese.
