[The face that is seen isn't Gai's, it's Yamamoto's. He's currently in Yamamoto's body and in Yamamoto's bedroom and rather confused.]

Kakashi, please respond when you have a chance. I am in a... situation.

[He visibly hesitates; he doesn't want to say too much and thus make himself vulnerable. But he does have to express the situation so that he gets a response.]

I am Gai. Not 'Yamamoto'. I do not know how to fix this, and I am hoping you have ideas. And if you see me, my body, can you make sure I, it, is all right?

[After a pause, Gai frowns and nods, ending the feed. It's more than he wanted to say, but it should be enough.]

[Okay, mister. That is just weird.]

... I thought the theme of the day was "marriage"?
Feb. 19th, 2011 11:31 pm (UTC)

[...Wait, days have themes? Someone had failed to brief him on this.]

What sort of themes do days have? Is there warning before they suddenly become 'themed'?

[He'd like to avoid any future themes. If possible.]
Feb. 19th, 2011 11:52 pm (UTC)
Ah, I didn't mean it so very literally... though, well, there have been strange things happening before that, I suppose, did have a common theme, but sometimes, that was rather broad. Other times not so much. We've had things where people turned into children, and then we had things when water turned to blood, poisonous fog rose during the night and monsters were charging into villages.

So, I suppose it's not that unusual that both the marriages and... this should happen on the same day.

And no, there usually is no warning at all.

Marriages are happening? As a... thing? Are you saying that people are being forced into marraige?

[His voice is serious. This sounds very bad, worse than being turned into a child. It's more of a violation, in a way, than having someone else in his body.]

There is no warning and then someone is forced into a situation.

[This is not good at all.]

Well, I'm not sure, but there seem to be an awful lot of people suddenly married. It's a little suspicious.

... yeah. That's the gist of it.
Feb. 21st, 2011 02:13 am (UTC)

Is variety common, or is it normally just one thing?

[He's trying to see what sort of pattern this follows or doesn't.]
Feb. 21st, 2011 10:29 am (UTC)
... what I just said? Sometimes it's mostly one thing, sometimes it's a greater overarching theme with different things happening.
Feb. 22nd, 2011 02:05 am (UTC)

I see. I mean, I do not entirely see. But that means that marraige and losing one's body is similar.

[There's a pause.]

It it is forced, maybe there is a similarity.
Feb. 22nd, 2011 11:33 am (UTC)
Yes... yes, that may very well be. I don't know if both come from the same sources, but both are things forced on us.
Feb. 24th, 2011 01:31 am (UTC)

Have you ever been forced into anything? And have most here? Or is it a minority?
Feb. 27th, 2011 07:46 pm (UTC)
I think a good few of us have.
